Sake, a traditional Japanese Sake crafted from rice, water, yeast, and koji mould. With a diverse range of styles and flavours, a cultural staple in Japan enjoyed both warm and chilled around the world.
Taru Sake, meaning "barrel sake," is stored in wooden barrels, allowing it to absorb a fresh, aromatic essence from the wood. The finest barrels are made from Yoshino Sugi, a prized Japanese cypress grown in Nara Prefecture. This unique ageing process imparts a light, forest-like fragrance, adding a refreshing dimension to the sake’s flavour.
Best served at room temperature, Taru Sake offers a beautifully balanced drinking experience with a natural, woody aroma.
There are many varieties of sake to explore, including Daiginjo , Ginjo , Junmai , Honjozo , Futsushu , Koshu , Genshu , Taru Sake , Namazake and Nigori .
