We’re thrilled to announce that Starry Mart Southside has officially opened its doors! On May 17, 2025, we celebrated this exciting milestone with a joyful ribbon-cutting ceremony and warmly welcomed the vibrant Southside community to our brand-new store.
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony – A Momentous Start
Our grand opening began with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially marking the start of our journey in Southside. We were deeply honoured to welcome a number of distinguished guests who took the time to join us and show their support.
To all our invited guests: thank you for gracing us with your presence. Your encouragement and kind words added great meaning to the day and brought a true sense of celebration to our opening.
We’re equally grateful to the many customers who came to celebrate with us. Your enthusiasm and warm welcome have made us feel right at home in the Southside community.
As part of the celebrations, we also hosted live in-store tasting sessions featuring popular brands like Kungfu, Weilong, Lee Kum Kee, and TAKARA. Shoppers had the chance to sample delicious flavours and discover new favourites while exploring the store.
Discover Our Hidden Gem Upstairs: Asian Lifestyle Space
Make sure to head upstairs and explore our Asian Lifestyle Space on the second floor — a beautifully curated area dedicated to traditional homeware, charming gifts, and cultural inspiration. It’s more than a supermarket — it’s a place to connect with the essence of Asian living, right here in Southside.
A Huge Thank You to Our Team
None of this would have been possible without the dedication and passion of our incredible Starry Mart team. From setting up the store to assisting customers on the big day, every team member played a vital role in making the event run smoothly. Thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and heart — we’re proud to have such an amazing team.
