Korean food is more about the intensely salted fermented chilli pastes, bibigo hot pepper paste, Nongshim, Choripdong, Chongga Kimchi etc. Kimchi is most famous in Korea, it is spicy fermented vegetables, most commonly use napa cabbage and Korean radishes, with variety of seasonings including chilli powder, scallions, garlic, ginger, and jeotgal (salted seafood).
